Hello, my name is Mifa. (she/they)

I am grateful that you are here. Beginning a healing journey is not for the faint of heart—it takes courage, vulnerability, and bravery to turn toward ourselves and our experiences.

I am a relational, somatic, and liberation-oriented psychotherapist who supports people in reconnecting with their inherent wisdom, healing through relationships, and embracing their whole selves. My work is rooted in the belief that healing happens through connection, self-understanding, embodiment, community care, and creating space for all parts of ourselves to exist more fully. My role is to walk alongside you with care and support as you reconnect with the wisdom, strengths, and inner knowing that already exist within you.

I offer individual therapy for adults through both in-person and Telehealth sessions.

My office is located in Highland Park/Northeast Los Angeles, on the ancestral lands of the Tongva People.

Wild Geese By Mary Oliver

You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
For a hundred miles through the desert, repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.
Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
Meanwhile the world goes on.
Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain
are moving across the landscapes,
over the prairies and the deep trees,
the mountains and the rivers.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting --
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.
